The infamous Sinclair ZX Microdrive came to me in its original packaging in a very mint condition. Rick Dickinson, the designer of the ZX Spectrum also designed this Microdrive following the same design ideas. It offered 80 KB of storage on the small microdrive cartridges. The QL microdrives we’re formatted to store 110 KB.
You needed to have the Interface 1 connected to your ZX Spectrum. The Microdrive connects with a cable to the Interface 1.
In issue 10/1983 of Personal Computer World you will find a test of the ZX Spectrum with Interface 1 and Microdrive.

Das berüchtigte ZX Microdrive konnte ich in der Originalverpackung und in großartiger Verfassung erhalten. Rick Dickinson, der Designer des ZX Spectrum gestaltete auch dieses Microdrive nach denselben Designideen. Das Gerät bot 80 KB Massenspeicher auf den kleinen Microdrive-Kassetten. Die QL Microdrives wurden auf 110 KB formatiert.
Das Interface 1 musste mit dem ZX Spectrum verbunden sein. Dann konnte man das Microdrive über ein Flachbandkabel mit dem Interface 1 verbinden.
