English: Since many years I try to find a Atari Megafile 30. The original hard disk for my Atari Mega. I used a Quantum HDD in a case with the same size but not the same design. Finally I got it from eBay for a good price in a pretty washed out condition. But with some alcohol and cleaning now it looks fine to become a part of my collection and fit best to my old Atari Mega 2 and the SM 124 Monitor.

Deutsch: Seit vielen Jahren habe ich versucht eine Atari Megafile 30 zu bekommen. Dies ist die originale Festplatte für meinen Atari Mega. Ich selbst hatte eine Quantum-Festplatte in einem Gehäuse, das ähnliche Maße, aber nicht dasselbe Gehäuse-Design hatte. Schließlich fand ich die Megafile bei eBay für einen guten Preis, aber in einem sehr vergilbten Gehäuse. Aber mit ein wenig Alkohol und guter Behandlung (für das Gerät, nicht für mich) sah das Gerät wieder richtig gut aus und passt großartig zu meinem Atari Mega 2 und dem SM 124-Monitor.
