The Apple Colour Classic is the last device in a series of compact Macs. It was the first with a color screen. It was a Sony Trinitron screen. I like the design of this device because it is well rounded without the corners of the old compact Macs. When I found it on eBay it was offered in a working condition. After the seller accepted the offer he reported back to me that the device is not working anymore. Eventually he accepted a reduced offer and so I got this highly appreciated collectible. It is one of the gems in my collection.

Der Colour Classic ist das letzte Gerät in einer langen Reihe von kompakten Macs („Knubbel-Macs“). Es war der erste mit einem Farbbildschirm. Es war ein Sony Trinitron-Bildschirm. Als ich das Angebot auf eBay fand, wurde der Mac noch als funktionsfähig angegeben. Nachdem ich den Zuschlag bekam, berichtete der Verkäufer, daß der Rechner nicht mehr funktionierte. Zu einem günstigeren Preis holte ich dieses großartige Sammlerstück aus der Nähe von Mainz ab. Es ist eines der Schmuckstücke meiner Sammlung.
